24.12.12.- For his today morning breakfast, Mr Hii King Chiong visited the Centre Market early this morning. During this visit, he has the pleasure to meet the hawkers and had a nice chit chat with some of his best friends.
The Centre Market, with its popular nicknamed, the Open Air Market is one of the most attracting spot to Mirian, especially the Chinese community. The hawkers then took the opportunity to express their dissatisfaction to Mr Hii.
"This is where we always meet, we can find everything here, we buy and sell our daily essentials here and later have a cup of tea at stall. But lately we faced a lot of problems and needs an urgent solution", expressed an anonymous hawkers who has been trading there for years.
It’s was reported that the hawkers faced problems such as leaking in washing area, poor waste management collection, the unsafe installation of gutters and etc. They has also forwarded their problems to the authority concern but yet no positive action has been carried out.
Mr Hii when asked the situation faced by hawkers said, "Hii King Chiong Service Centre will try to communicate with authority concern, they have the authority. We will assist them both (hawkers and the authority), that’s we definitely we can do. Personally I agreed to do finance in solving some of the problem"' he promised.

Mr Hii and his entourage later took his time on "meet - the people" session around the market place.
