Three Units Thank Hii King Chiong For Instant Allocations Approved By Deputy Prime Minister

30.04.2016--Representatives from SM Pei Min Miri, parent-teacher association (PTA) of SK Pujut Corner of Miri and Miri Saberkas Night Market and Hawkers Association today went to Barisan Nasional (BN) Pujut Election Operation Centre to thank direct BN candidate for Pujut Dato Hii King Chiong after Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi approved the allocations to the three units.

Hii earlier assisted in bringing up the matters to the Deputy Prime Minister. They praised Hii as a good leader who walks the talk and appealed to Pujut and Krokop constituents to vote for Hii, so that he can make more contributions for Miri.

SM Pei Min Miri chairman of the board Khor Ooi Long told reporters that through the effort of their Honorary Life Chairman Dato Hii King Chiong, an allocation of RM500,000 had been approved by the Deputy Prime Minister and would be given to the school for infrastructure upgrading and development. Hii was commended as a caring leader who delivers his promises and deserves the support from the people.

He also hoped Hii would continue to fight for more allocations to the school for the benefits of the students.

Khor pointed out that Hii had always been concerned over school affairs and made donations to help the school. He thanked Hii for his care and support to SM Pei Min Miri and hoped voters will give full support to Hii in the 11th Sarawak state election so that he can continue to make more contributions to the people.

SK Pujut Corner principal Suriyati Binti Amit also told reporters that Hii would contest in Pujut constituency as BN candidate and everyone should fully support him in the election.

“Our school was established 53 years ago. The government has been helping our school with allocations but it is always insufficient.”

She pointed out that through the effort of Hii, SK Pujut Corner would be given an allocation of RM500,000 and the school would use the fund wisely.

She also appealed to voters in Miri to fully support Hii so that he can fight for more rights and interests of the people in the capacity as an elected representative.

Miri Saberkas Night Market and Hawkers Association chairman Encik Abdul Rahman Bin Jawawi also said that the hawkers were very grateful to Hii for his assistance and would fully support Hii.

Ahmad Zahid announced a RM1.2 million allocation to two schools and Miri Saberkas Night Market and Hawkers Association during Jom Berambeh Carnival at Saberkas Night Market yesterday. The request for allocation was made by Hii.

Apart from announcing the allocations, Ahmad Zahid had also come to give moral support to Hii. He praised Hii as a good leader who helps the people regardless of race and urged the voters to fully support him.
