SMK St. Columba Requests Hii King Chiong To Help Solve Stagnant Water Problem

16.10.2015--SMK St. Columba’s board of directors sought the assistance of United People’s Party (UPP) Piasau chairman Dato Hii King Chiong to solve the problem of stagnant water at the school’s car park.

Following request of the school, Hii today paid a visit to the school to further understand the situation. He promised to send several lorries of gravel stones to repair the school’s car park and solve the problem of stagnant water.

The school’s parent-teacher association (PTA) chairman Hurbent Horton Kelou and principal Meechang Tuie accompanied Hii on his inspection visit and also requested for his assistance to build a 120-foot shade outside the school. It would give shade to parents and students coming and going out from the school. Hii said they would talk with the Lions Club to build the shade for the school.

Principal Meechang Tuie also requested Hii to help hand over the school’s application letter seeking funds to build another block with 12 classrooms to Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Haji Adenan Satem.
